Position Scope:

We are seeking a dynamic, operationally grounded HR Manager to cover a maternity leave. Leading a team of three and collaborating across regional facilities, you will partner directly with leadership to align workforce strategies with production goals, oversee foreign worker programs, and ensure operational excellence across our People & Culture function.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage the HR group with optimizing departmental workflows and service delivery across regional sites.
  • Partner with senior management and plant leadership to align workforce planning and talent acquisition with fluctuating production targets.
  • Oversee immigration streams and foreign worker programs to proactively resolve specialized labor shortages.
  • Manage complex labor scheduling matrixes and conduct operational audits and optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintain and leverage our HRIS platform to streamline labor tracking, improve data integrity, and minimize reporting lags.
  • Execute targeted employee engagement programs designed for a diverse operational and manufacturing workforce.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures strictly comply with provincial and federal labor regulations.
  • Project management including deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site operational environment.
  • Proven success managing immigration and foreign worker programs.
  • Strong background in labor scheduling, HRIS administration, and provincial/federal compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of team development.
  • CPHR designation or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now would be considered an asset.
