Essential Responsibilities:
You will play an important role in providing installation and service to our customers heat pump equipment. HVAC knowledge, attention to detail, communication and a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of this role.
- Performs maintenance, installation, cleaning, diagnostics, and repairs on heat pump equipment
- Communicates with customers and administrative staff on a day-to-day basis
- Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery
- Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
- Must be available for on-call rotation for emergency service
- Can handle medium to heavy equipment
- Completes the scope of their job in a timely manner
- Maintains a positive attitude
The nature of this role may be physically demanding and require manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman refrigeration license (considered an asset)
- Minimum 3rd period apprentice or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's abstract
- Safety certifications are considered an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc.)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
