You will be supervising over general commercial/industrial excavation projects completing the following scopes of work:

• Foundation excavation/backfill
• Interior/exterior sub grading and slab preps
• Trenching for both Mechanical and Electrical contractors.

Description of Duties:

• Work with construction crew to meet scheduling goals and client expectations.
• Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Attend and provider input at Project Meetings with the PM/Estimator, proactively identifying solutions to support the project.
• Identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, and schedule targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites.

Skills and Requirements:

• Preference will be given to those candidates with a minimum 3 years of operating experience on either Excavator and/or Skidsteer.
• Comfort working with computers and technology 
• Working understanding of blueprints, grades and survey.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation:  Range is $30.00 - $45.00/hr

• No work scheduled on Sundays and long weekends!!
• Saturdays are optional (if you need your crew to work it to make up for lost time you decide)
• Career advancement available - This role will grow into a Construction Manager position. 
• Health Spending Account ($500/year) available after 3 month probation period.
• Expect average of 45-50hrs each week.
