Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers in coordinating the schedule, budget, issues, and risks of projects. This role will support the successful execution of multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Duties
- Assist Project Managers with coordinating project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Help monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management and stakeholders
- Assist with resource scheduling to ensure projects are adequately staffed
- Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between project teams and management
- Manage project documentation and maintain organized project files
- Support procurement activities including material and equipment coordination
- Assist with project cost tracking, billing, and purchase orders
- Coordinate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support implementation of project management processes and strategies
- Maintain a high standard of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Promote and support a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Technical College diploma, certificate, or related education in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- Project management certification such as CAPM, PMP, CET, or equivalent is considered an asset
- Previous experience in construction or industrial project coordination is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation an asset

Working Conditions
