Cabinet Maker Joiner

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and construction, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This role involves creating custom cabinets and furniture pieces with precision, utilizing various hand and power tools. 

Duties

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry and woodwork
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment
• Measure accurately and ensure all components meet specified dimensions and quality standards
• Joiners/Gluing and Laminates
• Install cabinets securely in residential or commercial settings, ensuring proper alignment and finish
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, finishing, or painting as required for final presentation
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling

Requirements

• Proven experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or related construction fields
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment
• Knowledge of construction painting, restoration techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, roofing, siding, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work, and caulking is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation processes
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship quality
• Prior handyman experience or construction background is highly desirable
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks requiring strength and dexterity
• Relevant certifications or training in carpentry or woodworking preferred but not required

• This position is to fulfill current vacant role at our client for a 2 month period
• This role starts between $25.00 per hour
