Construction Warehouse / Yard Worker

Job Overview

We are looking for a Construction Yard & Warehouse Worker to support daily operations by organizing materials, staging job orders, and assisting with deliveries.

This role is essential to keeping our projects moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

This position also offers opportunities for growth for individuals interested in developing leadership skills within yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect construction materials and supplies

• Organize and maintain yard inventory and material storage

• Pick and stage materials for upcoming jobs

• Assist with loading trucks for deliveries to job sites

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other material-handling equipment

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies

• Assist with occasional delivery runs when needed

• Support yard operations including scaffolding organization and staging

Qualifications

• Experience working in a construction yard, warehouse, or similar environment preferred

• Forklift or equipment experience considered an asset

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is an asset
