Company Overview:
We are a commercial sheet metal contractor serving Edmonton and the surrounding communities. Our company specializes in the fabrication and installation of ventilation systems for schools, restaurants, retail spaces, community centre's and more.
We require a Shop Hand for our busy Edmonton shop.
Job Duties:
- Duct fabrication
- Welding
- Operate power shear, turning machines, edgers, and sheet metal brake.
Qualifications:
- Registered as a 2nd - 4th year Sheet Metal Apprentice or licensed Sheet Metal Journeyperson.
- Working knowledge of HVAC duct design and fabrication.
- Trained in the operation and use of sheet metal sheers, brakes, turning machines, seamers and possess the required associated hand skills.
- Proficient in assembling and welding kitchen exhaust duct systems.
- Safety conscious, punctual and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- First Aid and forklift operation certification preferred.
