ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager – Chronic Pain Management Program & Project ECHO with indirect reporting to the Director of Community Mental Health, the Implementation and Data Quality Lead will provide leadership and guidance with project deliverables and implementation of change management regarding Coordinated Access (CA) and will work collaboratively on all aspects of implementation of a CA system. The Lead will have a specific focus on data validation and service mapping of all Mental Health & Addiction (MHA) programs in the Northwest (NW) region to meet provincial deliverables and timelines. The Lead will provide leadership and work collaboratively with Managers, Directors and organizational leaders across the NW region, and support data quality in the CA project.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree is required, in a relevant field e.g., statistics, health administration, public health, epidemiology, computer sciences or related field
  • Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and implementation methodologies
  • Experience in project management, including demonstrated business skills, as well as experience in program and system evaluation
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple agencies and stakeholders
  • Experience in teaching and training adults in the use of technology and health information to improve clinical processes and clients’ experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel), survey software (e.g. Survey Monkey), qualitative software with the ability to learn new programs quickly

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both orally and in writing and ability to communicate at a level appropriate depending on the target audience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with partners, program managers, and directors
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to meet provincial timelines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project/time management, excellent analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with office computer equipment and software, including MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Time management and organizational skills in order to effectively address and prioritize multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others
  • Strong group facilitation and presentation skills
  • The ability for self-directed learning/working, as well as collaboration and teamwork
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

 

Conditions of Employment:

  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
  • Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
