Location - Surrey branch, 8183 130h Street
Responsibilities
- Planning, supervision and coordination of receipt, storage and shipment of product lines
- Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
- Work closely with applicable departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure the product is delivered in a timely manner
- Responsible for productivity and quality measurements and improvements in the warehouse
- Inventory control and order selection
- Serving customers when necessary
- Coordinate and assist in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective operating administrative processes and safety standards
- Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day
- Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified
- Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment
- Hazardous Materials Training
- Reliable, safe and a team player
- Proven leadership for successful day to day operation of warehouse facilities
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
