Part-Time Bilingual Customer Service Specialist

Our Part-Time Customer Service Specialists provide a patient-centric experience over the phone and serve as the first point of contact for patients at Risas. In this role, you will educate patients on our services and pricing while assisting with appointment scheduling. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize, critical thinking, and problem-solving when supporting both new and returning patients. 

Schedule & Hours

• Monday–Friday: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

• Saturday: All day (required availability)

• This is a part-time, on-site role

Responsibilities

• Answer an average of 40-50 telephone calls per day during scheduled part-time shifts to schedule appointments for new and/or current patients

• Educate patients on services and pricing

• Verify and update patient demographic information while scheduling appointments

• Identify and resolve patient concerns to support patient satisfaction and retention

• Complete patient treatment follow-up calls

• Communicate with teammates at offices across all markets regarding patient questions, scheduling needs, and updates

• Process payments by phone

• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Risas policies and practices)

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

• Customer service experience over the phone preferred

• Proficient computer skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality

• Comfortable utilizing de-escalation techniques when communicating with patients

• Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and work independently
