Our services team is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Outboard & Lakeboat Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a salary-based position with occasional commission opportunities, ideal for someone who values stability while still being rewarded for performance.

We are a full-service marine facility serving commercial and recreational boaters along the Maine coast. Our division specializes in outboard motors, lakeboats, and powersports equipment. Position Overview

The Sales Representative will work directly with customers to guide them through the purchase of outboard motors, lakeboats, and related marine products. This role requires a balance of product knowledge, customer service, and relationship-driven sales.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate boats, outboards, and accessories

  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through delivery

  • Maintain strong product knowledge across boat brands, outboard engines, and marine equipment

  • Coordinate with service, parts, and operations teams to ensure smooth customer experiences

  • Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships

  • Assist with boat shows, demo days, and promotional events as needed

  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and customer records

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in marine, powersports, automotive, or equipment sales preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

  • General knowledge of boats, outboards, or ability to learn quickly

  • Valid driver’s license
