Responsibilities
- Analyze system logs, error codes, and performance metrics to identify root causes of malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring for new industrial equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests to verify the integrity of electrical connections and prevent potential hazards.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures according to design blueprints, wiring diagrams, and customer requirements.
- Select and install components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and terminal blocks in accordance with electrical standards and regulations.
- Test and troubleshoot panel assemblies to ensure proper functionality, wiring accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification an asset
- 3rd or 4th year apprentices applications will be considered
- Able to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
- Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Able to maintain good housekeeping standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a sense of urgency with attention to detail
- Maintain clean work areas
- Great time management
