We are a successful construction and design build engineering firm that is entering its 33rd year of operations. With over 60 employees in the field, we are looking to add a Part-Time Construction site superintendent to the team, in Edmonton, AB. Job Duties:

• Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role is responsible for providing project supervision
• Scheduling, logistics and completion of projects safely, on time and on budget
• Quality control functions
• Supervise all onsite aspects of the construction of large, complex, technically challenging, and rewarding projects
• Plan work and document the plan via written schedules

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in industrial and commercial construction in a superintendent supervisory role
• A trade certification or relevant technical diploma
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, and safety regulations
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Strong problem solving ability and follow through
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Alberta Building Code and standards, and ability to complete work with adherence to these guidelines
