Production Technician

Benshaw Canada Controls Inc., located in Listowel, Ontario, has a full-time opportunity for an individual interested in the Production Technician role.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, fitting, wiring and inspecting low voltage and medium voltage industrial electrical products. You will review provided drawings for errors, solder PC boards, pretest components, ensure Benshaw quality control standards are maintained. The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player who is willing to grow with the Benshaw team.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Recent assembly experience using fine motor skills
• Experience using hand tools
• Ability to read measurements, drawings/blueprints, preferably of an electrical/mechanical nature
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Working knowledge of electricity and electrical controls is considered a strong asset

All candidates who are selected for an interview will be required to perform an assembly test which may include reading drawing/blueprints, wiring and demonstrating attention to detail.
