Office Administrative Assistant
The Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support within the office. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The Office Administrative Assistant acts as a point of contact for staff, clients, and visitors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Main Duties
- Answering phone calls, emails, and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Managing calendars, establishing due dates for orders, creating Estimates, Invoices, etc.
- Maintaining filing systems, both electronic and paper, and ensuring records are kept up-to-date.
- Ordering office supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Greeting and assisting visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience/Knowledge with QuickBooks On-Line is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in an office setting is preferred.
