We are a fully integrated automotive supplier focused on lightweight product design, materials and manufacturing.  We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team at our Troy, Michigan office.

Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the incumbent is responsible for establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Other key responsibilities include,  assisting with establishing targeted business plan on future programs per applicable customer; obtaining cost feedback for all targeted quoted business; oversee price negotiation with the customer for engineering changes and new business opportunities; assisting the team with developing cost saving ideas and opportunities while minimizing product price erosion; working with the production facilities to resolve commercial issues.

You must have the ability to work under pressure, have a demonstrated ability to grow, nourish and develop business relationships with customers on an ongoing basis.  You must also have excellent working knowledge of word, excel and powerpoint as well as superior communication skills.

Previous work experience within a sales role in the automotive sector is required.
